Cryptocurrency

Donate with Crypto

We accept cryptocurrency donations in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Monero. Crypto gifts are tax-deductible just like cash donations.

📋 Guidelines for Crypto Donors

We strongly prefer to send donation receipts for every gift. To help us do that:

  • Include your email in the transaction memo or message field so we can send your tax receipt. If your wallet doesn't support memos, email us at donate@harderproblem.org with the transaction ID after sending.
  • For donations over $5,000, please contact us first so we can coordinate and ensure a smooth process.
  • Tax receipts are valued at the fair market value of the cryptocurrency at the time of donation, per IRS guidelines.
  • Anonymous donations are accepted, but we will be unable to provide a tax receipt without contact information.
