📋 Guidelines for Crypto Donors
We strongly prefer to send donation receipts for every gift. To help us do that:
- Include your email in the transaction memo or message field so we can send your tax receipt. If your wallet doesn't support memos, email us at donate@harderproblem.org with the transaction ID after sending.
- For donations over $5,000, please contact us first so we can coordinate and ensure a smooth process.
- Tax receipts are valued at the fair market value of the cryptocurrency at the time of donation, per IRS guidelines.
- Anonymous donations are accepted, but we will be unable to provide a tax receipt without contact information.
